Lagerhaus grows even bigger in Japan

The APITA department store in Yokkaichi, Japan, is next in line to offer Swedish design to their customers. The opening of the around 100 sqm shop this Saturday is the thirteenth for Lagerhaus in Japan.

The collaboration with Uny, owner of the APITA department stores, began last fall and has been successful. The stores are so called shop-in-shops where the Lagerhaus concept is presented for the design interested Japanese costumers.

- Lagerhaus’ Swedish and Japanese customers are alike in many ways: Many of them specificly like our expressive, colorful patterns with a Scandinavian touch.
As a designer, it’s really great to see that our products do well both in Sweden and Japan and I look forward to see more set ups also in other markets,
Therese Stråhle: Design Manager at Lagerhaus

The Yokkaichi shop will be Lagerhaus’ thirteenth Japanese store since the start in Oktober 2013.
