ZealiD awarded Legal Innovator Prize
In connection with the 8th edition of the Nordic Legal Tech Day in Stockholm, ZealiD was awarded the Legal Innovator Prize 2022. ZealiD was recognized for their mission to enable all global citizens to become digitally included, empowered and engaged.
The prize was handed over by Leif Frykman, one of the founders of Legal Works, the organizer of the event that took place in Stockholm on October 7, 2022: “No doubt digital identities will play an even more important part of our lives in the future. We think it is time to recognize ZealiD for their important work in the space of digital identity and electronic signatures, where we need practical solutions that work across borders.“
The jury consisted of Leif Frykman and Ulf Lindén, Legal Works, Elisabet Dahlman Löfgren, Mannheimer Swartling Advokatbyrå, Malin Männikkö, Stockholm Legal Hackers and Helen Hallgarn, VQ Legal.
ZealiD is a Swedish company with offices in Germany and Lithuania that performs digital identification and issues qualified certificates to enable secure electronic signatures to citizens in more than 40 countries, one of few listed on the EU Trusted List.

Nordic Legal Tech Day is the annual event about the transformation of the legal industry driven by new tech and new customer needs and behaviors, but also the changing values in the legal community. The event is organized by Legal Works Nordic AB for the 8th time. For the last few years, the event is also held in Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki.
