Pressmeddelande -

Jesse Malin är här med Argentina

Idag släpper Jesse Malin nya låten "Argentina" som är ett snapshot av hans tid i Buenos Aires där han genomgått behandling för en ryggrads-stroke som gjort att han inte kan gå.

Jesse berättar: “As always in my songs, the themes are all there— transcendence, positivity and global unity through music. This is what I love to do, and I’m going to do everything I can to keep doing it.”

Till låten följer en oerhört gripande video filmad i Buenos Aires av Dave Stekert. “This might be one of my most personal songs,” säger Malin. “It was written while I was in a clinic in Buenos Aires for six months, doing everything to keep my head up. A lot of the inspiration for it comes from the nurses, doctors and physical therapists, and a lost ring owned by a departed friend that was personally delivered to me by Jimmy G [Murphy’s Law] as a gift to keep fighting.”

“Argentina” är Malins senaste release sedan kritikerrosade tribute och benefit albumet Silver Patron Saints: The Songs of Jesse Malin som nu finns ute som trippel-vinyl och allt överskott går till Jesse Malins Sweet Relief artist fund.

Albumet är producerat av Diane Gentile och Dave Bason och gästas bl.a av: Bruce Springsteen, Billie Joe Armstrong, Lucinda Williams, Elvis Costello, The Hold Steady, Tommy Stinson, Alison Mosshart with the late, great Wayne Kramer, Tom Morello, Counting Crows, Dinosaur Jr, The Wallflowers, Spoon, Susanna Hoffs, Frank Turner, Rancid.

Och i december och maj händer det mer kring Jesse Malin:
