New artists for Eurovision Village will bring real euphoria!

Five days to go until the opening of the Eurovision Village and the City of Malmö is releasing new artists for the programme in Folkets Park. Iconic Swedish pop group the Herreys celebrates a 40-year career and makes a visit to Malmö. The Eurovision week also offers nostalgia with Pandora and Da Buzz, and a visit from many people's favourite Finn Käärijä, and Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine. And there will be dance workshops on roller skates for those who want to learn great moves on wheels.

Swedish Eurovision icons Herreys are coming to the Euphoria Stage!

Since their Eurovision victory in 1984, the trio has captivated audiences all over the world with their music and performances. They were also the best-selling pop group of the eighties in Sweden. Formed by brothers Per, Richard and Louis Herrey, Herreys became the names on everyone's lips when they won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1984 with their song ‘Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley.’

The Herreys are releasing new music throughout the year and in May they will release their new single ‘Sing A Song’. But first, they'll be gracing the Euphoria Stage in the Eurovision Village!

Raylee (NO) – experience the dynamic star of the Eurovision circuit!

Known for her performances in Norway's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with hits like 'Louder', 'Wild' and the much talked about 'Hero', Raylee is taking the stage by storm. Despite never competing for Norway in Eurovision, her songs have conquered Europe. With new confidence and a clear musical direction after years of songwriting, both solo and with top Scandinavian talent, Raylee is ready to deliver an unforgettable show.

Don't miss her performing new singles like ‘Charade’ and ‘Diamond in the Rough’. Join Raylee as she continues to make music history and spread her stage magic across borders. You can look forward to an evening of music, dance and pure Eurovision glamour!

Pandora and Da Buzz – are you ready for a nostalgia trip?

Pandora broke through in 1993 with their debut single ‘Trust Me’, which became the best-selling single in Sweden that year. During the heyday of Eurodance in the 90s, Pandora became a world artist and is today a pioneer of the genre. In 2021, Pandora participated with Finnish rap trio Teflon Brothers in that year's Finnish equivalent of Melodifestivalen and their entry ‘I Love You’ reached second place.

With more than 13 top 20 hits in Sweden, Da Buzz was one of Sweden's most played artists in the early 2000s. Songs like ‘Alive’, ‘Do You Want Me’ and ‘Dangerous’ are still played frequently on national radio. The group also had great international success and was high on the Billboard charts with the single ‘Let Me Love You’ in 2021. Da Buzz celebrated its 25th anniversary last year with a brand new album, new singles and tours - so count on sing-alongs from these Swedish legends!

Drömhus and Gunilla Persson – a brilliant combination!

Therese Grankvist released her first house-like single ‘Du och jag’ in 1997 as Drömhus. But the big breakthrough came in 1998, when they did a new version of Freestyle's song ‘Vill ha dig’ from 1981. The first album ‘Drömmar’ was released shortly afterwards and sold gold in Sweden. The album topped charts across much of northern Europe. In the 1999 Melodifestivalen, Drömhus participated with the song ‘Stjärna på himmelen’ and came in second place.

Gunilla Persson is a Swedish TV personality and entrepreneur who made her breakthrough in ‘Swedish Hollywood Wives’. She has become an audience favourite thanks to her charismatic personality and has fans and followers all over the world. Gunilla participated in the third round of this year's Melodifestivalen with her entry ‘I Won't Shake (La La Gunilla)’ where she finished in fourth place and went on to the final selection.

Käärijä (FI) – are you ready for some Cha Cha Cha? It's our Finnish guest!

Cross-border artist Käärijä made Finnish music history in 2023 when he became the fans' favourite in the Eurovision Song Contest with an overwhelming amount of votes. His entry 'Cha Cha Cha' reached number seven on Spotify's global charts and became the most streamed Finnish-language song of all time. Käärijä mixes different genres in his music and has a unique sense of humour in his lyrics, and his charisma is incomparable. Now he's coming to Euphoria Stage to take you on a wild ride!

Zoé (FR) – take the chance to see the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest Junior!

With an incredible voice, she won the whole contest with her song ‘Cœur’ about bullying and life as a young person. The 14-year-old super-voice broke through on France's The Voice Kids and is predicted to have a brilliant future - catch her before the stages get too big.

Arvingarna – sing along to Eloise and Tänker inte alls gå hem! Warming up is the radio station Dansbandskanalen

Arvingarna is one of Sweden's biggest dance bands, having participated in Melodifestivalen six times, had 20 songs on Svensktoppen and won four Grammys. Their first contribution to the Swedish national selection Melodifestivalen and their big breakthrough ‘Eloise’ took them to victory and seventh place in Eurovision in 1993. In 1995 they were back with ‘Bo Diddley’, a song that has become one of their most beloved. Five years later in 1999. They returned with ‘I swear’ which took third place and in 2002 they came sixth with ‘Nothing is bigger than us’ and no one could miss the guys' return to the contest with the super hit "I DO" in 2019. Or when they last competed in 2021 with the super hit ‘Tänker inte alls gå hem’. Over 30 years later, Arvingarna is still one of Sweden's most popular and beloved dance bands.

Kalush Orchestra (UKR)

Their song ‘Stefania‘ has become the anthem for all of Ukraine - now they're coming to the Eurovision Village. After winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, they have been celebrated worldwide. They are a dedicated bunch of artists who donated all the proceeds of their last European tour to the fight against Russia's invasion, and have played at festivals like Glastonbury and South by Southwest. Whilst in the US, they took the opportunity to shoot the music video for ‘Generous Evening‘, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. Welcome to see a fantastic live band on site!

Dance workshop on wheels for dancing queens

We have news from the Roller disco at Dancing Queen Stage that throughout the week there we will be dance workshops every day. Amjad from RollerSkateSweden is an experienced dancer and roller disco skater who, with colleagues, will be on site for the first half hour of each session to show his favourite steps and teach awesome moves.

Every day from 4-11 May at the Dancing Queen Stage
