Discover Catherine Christer Hennix through music at Malmö Konsthall
Music runs like a red thread throughout Catherine Christer Hennix’s artistic practice. From March to May, Malmö Konsthall presents three live performances dedicated to the artist. The concerts feature Kamigaku Ensemble, Hilary Jeffery & Marcus Pal, and a collaboration with Fylkingen.
The exhibition CC Hennix at Malmö Konsthall runs until 17 May and is the first major show in Sweden since the artist’s debut at Moderna Museet in 1976. The exhibition program is centered on Hennix’s music and composition, highlighting the breadth of an artistic practice that pushed the boundaries of how art, sound, and thought can intersect. The live performances in the exhibition are created both by long-term collaborators and by artists inspired by her work. Free admission with a limited number of seats.

A long-duration, large-scale performance by Kamigaku Ensemble, Catherine Christer Hennix’s final ensemble and musical work. In Hennix’s characteristic style of combination tone harmony, tones fuse into a massive sound field with a seemingly autonomous force.

Fylkingen c/o Malmö Konsthall

Hilary Jeffery & Marcus Pal
