Manasimakeup® is an independent Swedish make up collection founded by Susanne Persson, a professional makeup artist and hairstylist based in Sweden. In 1995 she started to work with fashion magazines, advertising agencies, actors / actresses, artists and models in Sweden and around the world represented by the Swedish model agency Stockholmsgruppen. After a few years on Susanne started to freelance and added more clients to her work. Working with both professionals and the every day woman has given her a great insight into what people look for in beauty products.
She has done the make up for music videos like Mary J. Blige, Cardigans, Kent, Heather Nova, etc and done work with artists like John Legend, Robyn, Nina Persson, Jenny Wilson, Emilia Mitiku amongst others. Susanne is working daily with a wide selection of some of the most popular makeup brands and products on the market. To obtain the results she is looking for, she usually mixes colors, textures and products from different brands. However, after working several years in the industry, Susanne felt that certain key products were missing in her makeup kit, so she decided to design her own products. She never uses mineral oils, parabens or phtalates and the priority is to use ingredients that originates from nature primarily, without modifying the intended texture, color or scent of the products. All of Manasimakeup®s products and ingredients are safe for the intended use and always allergy tested. The policy is never to test the products on animals when they develop products that are made with the goal to be as functional as possible without the risk of skin problems or other side effects. Manasimakeup® accepts only well-documented and safe raw materials.
