Live session number four - three songs in piano version from Melisha's studio

Today Melisha streamed her Live Session number four, directly from her studio which is located in Brewhouse in Gothenburg. This time, the streaming contained three songs instead of just one. The songs are called Letter to myself, They say and Better now and are songs that have already been released, two of them recently. In the project #onesongamonth, Melisha's twelfth release is also approaching, which can always be expected on the last Friday of each month.

Letter to myself is a song about daring to take hold of your dreams and not give up. Getting the courage to read their "inner letter", They say is about toxic positivity (released in April) and Better now (released in May) is about it being okay if things are better, everything does not have to be perfect.

This year Melisha celebrates 10 years in her studio in Brewhouse and last summer she started the project #onesongamonth which means that she releases one song a month with accompanying music video. This month in July, the 12th song in the project will be released, which means that the project has been going on for a year now. Melisha writes the songs, records, plays all instruments, produces, mixes and masters the songs. But the project is not over yet, it is not yet revealed how long the project is supposed to be.

Melisha is a 100% DIY artist, single mother of a 16-year-old boy and a true champion of gender equality in music production through her founding and project work with the non-profit association EQLovesMusic. She is also passionate about the DIY concept as she releases her own label but also writes, produces, mixes and masters the music and edits and makes all her music videos herself.
