MTGx strengthens team with talents from Schibsted and Bonnier

MTGx, the digital accelerator of leading international entertainment group Modern Times Group, has added two new experienced digital talents to its team. MTGx, which was launched in June 2013, is now home to over 50 full time employees, with backgrounds in everything from platform development, broadcasting and digital content, to online media, music, journalism, startups and M&A, from leading companies like MTG, Google, Facebook, Universal Music and Spotify.

The new hires are Jacob Lovén and Johanna Lange. Jacob will head up the business development of MTG’s advertising funded video on demand ‘play’ services across 10 markets. He has previously been Head of Sales for Sweden’s largest online TV guide, which is owned by Schibsted. Johanna has worked with business development and editorial content at Bonnier owned Nyhetsbolaget, and is joining as Content Manager of Like.tv.
