Launch of unique whois log

Who makes money selling your contact information? We want to alert our customers that a lot of fake emails are sent (so-called scam) for the purpose of earning money. Searches for domain contact information collect data for these mailings and public information is always at risk of exposure, for example fraud and profiling.

Name ISP recently launched an update of our Whois feature in our control panel. The function, unique in its kind (?), clearly shows how many hits of your contact information was made for the current domain in the last 90 days. You can also click on a list of the IP numbers logged in the last 30 hits.

We recommend our customers to use our free Shield Whois service and occasionally check whois searches to your domains.

Note that the updated version applies to .COM and .NET domains in their own domain portfolio. The function is visible only in logged-in mode, go to My Domains and click on the Whois link.
