Victor Ljungberg appointed Group CEO of Splay One

Victor Ljungberg has been appointed Group CEO of Splay One, effective 1 March 2019. He takes over from Vigor Sörman, who has decided to leave the company. Splay One develops branded digital content that helps advertisers to engage audiences across multiple platforms.

Splay One was created in June 2018 following the merger of Splay Networks and Nice One to form a Nordic branded entertainment powerhouse. Following the successful combination of the two companies, Vigor Sörman, the founder of Splay Networks and currently CEO of Splay One, has decided to step down from his position.

Vigor Sörman: “Every time this fantastic company moves to the next level of its development, I look in the mirror and ask myself if I am the right person to continue leading the business. This time, instead of my own reflection, I saw Victor Ljungberg.

“Today, Splay One is more relevant and successful than ever, and has just begun its journey. I have worked closely with Victor for five years, and I am certain that he is the right person to take Splay One forward.”

Victor Ljungberg has worked at the company since 2014, most recently as COO of Splay One.

Today, Splay One has 115 employees across four Nordic countries and is part of NENT Studios, the content production and distribution business within NENT Group, that includes 32 companies in 17 countries.

Vigor Sörman will continue working for Splay One for a period and currently has no concrete new projects on the horizon.

Anna Hammerlid, Adrian Langer, Christina Parker and Stina Varsikko will continue as the local CEOs for Splay One in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland respectively.
