Handball stars Aitor Ariño, Dika Mem and Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas join team NOCCO

Stockholm – Functional beverage NOCCO is proud to announce partnerships with three additional handball stars from FC Barcelona Handbol: left wing Aitor Ariño, right back Dika Mem and keeper Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas.

NOCCO is the functional drink for anyone dedicated to hard work and improvement. While founded in Sweden, NOCCO is growing rapidly in many European markets, including all the Nordic countries as well as Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. NOCCO was also recently introduced in France.

Aitor Ariño is a Welsch-born Spanish left wing player that scores frequently for Barcelona. He started playing handball already at the age of seven and was picked up by the FC Barcelona academy early on. Ariño will represent Spain in the upcoming IHF World Championship 2023.

Dika Mem is a French right back that has played in Barcelona since 2016 and is known for his physical strength and hard shots. He became world champion when representing France in 2017 and won an Olympic gold in 2020, and he will represent France again in the World Championship.

Goalkeeper Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas Moreno joined one of Barcelona’s youth teams already in 2007. He played in the French league during one season 2013/14 and was named best young player due to his great saves rate. He then returned to Barcelona and has played there with great success since then. Pérez de Vargas will represent Spain in the World Championship.

Each one of the three new NOCCO ambassadors plays a role as one of the four team captains of FC Barcelona Handbol, and together they have won the two latest champion leagues. Their fellow teammates Emil Nielsen (DK) and Jonathan Carlsbogård (SE) have already been NOCCO ambassadors for quite some while.

NOCCO’s dedication to handball
During 2023, NOCCO will be the official functional drinks partner to both men's and women's IHF World Handball Championships. In total, NOCCO has also partnered with more than 20 handball players throughout Europe that will all represent their respective countries during the World Championship.
