7 ways nonwoven keep hospitals hygienic

As we know, hospitals are waging daily wars on bacteria and viruses to minimize the risk of them spreading. 1. Disposable clothes

2. Curtains

5. Urine bags

Urine bags are often close to patients’ skin. Many urine bags are coated with a layer of soft nonwoven (often spunlace) that breaths and absorbs moisture so that patients’ are relieved from discomfort while also minimizing the growth of bacteria.

6. Disposable bed coasters

In hospital examinations room, the bed often has a disposable coaster that is changed for each patient. Many hospitals have replaced those easily tearable brownish paper coaster that rustle uncomfortably when you try an lay on them with nonwoven bed coasters instead. Nonwoven bed coasters are not only soft and comfortable, they are pliable, durable and resistant to liquids.

7. Sterilization wraps for medical instruments

In order to keep medical instruments sterile, they can be placed in colour coded nonwoven wraps upon sterilization. This helps medical personnel keep track on sterile instrument and also ensure that instruments stay sterile throughout transport and handling before surgery.
