Pressmeddelande -

Meet us in Nuuk!

Check your calendar for August the 28th!

Nordic Centre for Welfare and Social Issues invites you to participate in a day filled with seminaries, political debates and mingle.

In order to disseminate the project results from three recently completed projects, Nordic Centre for Welfare and Social Issues, NVC will organise a seminar on Katuaq in Nuuk, on the 28th of August 2013.

Register here!

Projects in brief:

• Ten percent of the Nordic region's youth are at risk of exclusion. They neither study, nor work. At the seminar, we will present Nordic solutions to get more young people into work and concrete tools that motivate students to complete their education.

• NVC has been commissioned to spread knowledge and research between the Nordic countries in the field of early intervention for families at risk of social marginalisation. The target audience is practitioners, researchers and policy makers who are interested in preventive work with families and children.

• Good journalism can challenge prejudices and broaden the images. NVC wants to spread Nordic examples of how countries are working to remove obstacles so more citizens with disabilities get access to the media and culture, both as consumers and as producers.

Please contact us if you want to know more about this event! You can reach us by e-mail info@nordicwelfare.org, or telephone +46-8-545 536 00.

The event will be translated into Greenlandic.
