Oceans heading for beta release.
Stockholm, Sweden — Oceans (www.oceans.io), the award winning* digital tool for ocean exploration, is preparing to add users to its first closed beta release.
The mobile app for iOS and Android devices will enable ocean explorers to check-in, plan and share diving experiences with friends and divers around the world. Oceans' discovery features makes it possible for anyone, diver or not, to explore the teeming world underwater.
Oceans for Google Glass makes everyone an ocean explorer by giving the viewer a first-person perspective of the oceanic life under the surface — without the need to get wet. A demo of the Glass concept is available on oceans.io.
Users will continuously be added to the beta over the coming month. Oceans will be launched globally in early 2014.
