Lansering Clos de Los Siete

18/1 2019 lanseras Clos de Los Siete 2015 från Argentina. Förra årets lansering av 2400 flaskor sålde snabbt slut och tack vare framgången lanseras 3000 flaskor. Vinet är ett av Argentinas mest hyllade Malbec-viner med konsekvent fina utmärkelser i internationell vinpress, så även 2015*.

Bakom projektet Clos de Los Siete, "de sjus vingård", står den franska stjärnvinmakaren Michel Rolland tillsammans med sex kollegor från Bordeaux. Michel Rolland förälskade sig i Argentina. Landet och människorna, men framförallt dess terroir. Tillsammans hittade de den perfekta platsen att realisera projektet. Tio mil söder om vinregionen Mendoza, på 1100 meters ,höjd planterades över 800 hektar med druvsorter från Bordeaux. Merlot, och Cabernet Sauvignon men framförallt Malbec som har blivit Argentinas ledstjärna och som utgör den dominerande delen av vinet.

Smak: Fyllig och samtidigt elegant med koncentrerad frukt, välintegrerade fattoner och silkeslena tanniner. Lång eftersmak med mineraliskt och nästan lite salt avslut.

Michel Rolland beskrivning av vinet: 
«The 2015 vintage reminds me to some extent of my hometown of Bordeaux because of the high levels of rain. The Malbec once again demonstrated its versatility, revealing itself in all its glory in this wine of which it constitutes 58% of the blend. The tell-tale signs of its presence are expressed in the attractive ruby red colour and purple tints around the edges, and the bouquet bursting with aromas of violet and red fruit with predominant notes of plum, later complemented by scents of black fruit and spices from the nice ripe Merlot and the Cabernet Sauvignon.
On the palate, the attack is pleasant and sweet with a fleshy, full-bodied texture that is well-balanced. The smoothness of the Malbec and Syrah harmonise with the tannic structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, which bestow a flavoursome, lingering finale upon the wine. The subtle hints of aging in wood barrels only serve to add complexity to this blend, which boasts all the typical elegance of cool vintage years, promising excellent aging potential. • eRobertParker 90/100 2015 was the first of the rainy El Nino vintages, which resulted in some challenges for the Valle de Uco, where the grapes for the 2015 Clos de los Siete red blend are grown. The blend changes with the year and is decided by tasting, but it's always more than 50% Malbec complemented with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Thirty percent of the wine remains unoaked to keep the freshness, and the rest matured in first, second and third use barriques for 11 to 12 months. This is a regular and harmonious wine with a commercial profile, approachable, polished and sleek. The palate is medium to full-bodied with round, lush tannins and clean flavors.
