Furniture with a mission at Salone del Mobile

With original design that contributes to better meetings between people, year after year Offecct has staked out the direction the furniture industry is heading, and 2019 is no exception.

“We will never fully be done developing a sustainable collection design and production wise, nor will we stop trying to. We made a conscious decision to always think in those terms when we founded Offecct in 1990, so we can stand upright and account for every detail in every piece of furniture we ever make. I am very proud that we are well known and celebrated for this attitude, and the 2019 collection is the result of 28 years of progress,” says Kurt Tingdal, one of the founders of Offecct.

Together with architects and designers, Offecct creates the best conditions for meetings between people. The collection is constantly evolving and follows the industry’s technical progress, but Offecct has always aspired to do more. Through investments in untested materials and methods, Offecct creates original new design that not only meets but surpasses people’s needs for functional, beautiful furniture. Architects depend on companies like Offecct to take the risks that come with product development, because an interior must uphold the same quality as the architecture in order for people to feel well and function in buildings.

“Our goal has always been to produce furniture that will last as long as the buildings where it is placed. This is only possible if you follow technical progress and collaborate with the architects and designers who have the best ideas and visions for the future. This is why our furniture is designed by people from all over the world, and the 2019 collection reflects our and our collaborators’ attitude towards good architecture and design,” explains Anders Englund, Design Manager at Offecct.

Experience Offecct at Salone del Mobile, April 9-14, hall 20, stand E19-F18.
