    Stockholm based architect and designer Mattias Stenberg continues his collaboration with Offecct. Following the success of Carry On, a soft stool in different colors featuring a carrying handle, and the On Point table incorporating the possibility to carry a foliage, it is now time for the Move On stool.

    Thomas Sandell's new armchair for Offecct invites people to spend more time at the table.

    Thomas Sandell is one of Scandinavia's most respected architects and designers. He has previously created acclaimed furniture for Offecct, in the form of a sofa, a chair and an acoustic panel. This time, the ambition was a chair for restaurants and conferences. The armchair, which signals high quality, is highly comfortable and hugs the user, hence the name - Consist.

    ​Surf – a new mobile table for Offecct by Maximilian Schmahl.

    Surf is moved around easily, yet it is no “furniture” according to the designer, rather “a tool for achieving maximum flexibility in activity-based venues.” Whether there is a computer or a couple of cups of coffee sitting on top of it. The light table blends well into Offecct's Life-circle philosophy.

    ​Murano - neat, comfortable easy chair reminding of Venice, by Luca Nichetto.

    Award-winning Italian designer Luca Nichetto divides his time between his studios in Venice and Stockholm. He grew up on idyllic Murano off the coast of Venice, since the Middle Ages, world-renowned for its glassworks. Now, in collaboration with Offecct, he has created an equally pretty and compact armchair that can be defined as a tribute to Murano and its glass blowers.

    On Thursday evening, Offecct was awarded the Industripriset Skaraborg 2017. The jury’s motivation praised Offecct’s circular economy business model and its work to reduce material consumption and to reuse components and products. The prize is awarded to a production company in the Skaraborg region that has grown and progressed through systematic actions carried out with strong commitment .

    Offecct AB tilldelades under torsdagskvällen Industripriset Skaraborg 2017. Juryns motivering löd ”Vinnaren av Industripriset 2017 har genom ständig kompetensutveckling och systematiska investeringar i sin personal, visat att det med modigt och nytänkande entreprenörskap är möjligt att nå framgång i en mogen bransch på en global marknad”.

    Offecct is participating in a new project that aims to make furniture from oat husks. “Another step closer to combining innovative design and environmental sustainability ” said Offecct Product Developer Joachim Schubert. “By using oat husks, which are a side product in farming and would otherwise be burned, we want to create products that are climate friendly and functional,” said Joachim .

    New owner enables faster growth and a br​oader distribution. “Having a new owner like Scandinavian Business Seating AS gives us access to an increased technical competence, broader global distribution channels, as well as an international network and cooperation”, says Kurt Tingdal, CEO at Offecct.

    Offecct ökar takten i sin internationella expansion

    Genom att gå samman med den norska koncernen Scandinavian Business Seating AS (SB Seating) kan Offecct satsa än mer offensivt på nya marknader och öka takten i sin produktutveckling. SB Seating förvärvar 100% av aktierna i koncernen OFFECCT AB. Affären blev klar den 5 maj 2017. Grundarna, Kurt Tingdal, CEO och Anders Englund, Designchef, kvarstår i i bolaget på samma befattningar som tidigare.

    Full house when Offecct opened showroom in Milan "An important strategic step in our global expansion"

    During Milan Design Week the Swedish furniture and design company Offecct opened its new meeting arena in the center of the Italian city. − Milan is the design capital of the world and it´s natural for us to be established here, says Offecct CEO Kurt Tingdal. More than 100 persons attended the inauguration and experienced the unique installation of Phoenix by the italian designer Luca Nicetto.
