Brings Shelfless becomes the first tenant in Panattoni's new logistics park in Åstorp

Panattoni has signed a lease agreement with Brings' fulfillment initiative Shelfless in the company's newly built logistics property in Åstorp – Panattoni's first project in southern Sweden. The establishment of Shelfless strengthens Panattoni's strategy in the Swedishmarket as well as Åstorp and the entire Öresund region as a strong logistics hub.

Last year, Panattoni, one of Europe's largest developers of modern logistics properties, completed its first logistics property of 46,000 sqm in Åstorp, just outside Helsingborg. It is now confirmed that Brings Shelfless will move into 11,300 square meters, with the possibility to expand to larger areas in the future. The move is from Klippan and means that employees from there will get a new, state-of-the-art workplace.

Panattoni Park Åstorp is certified according to BREEAM Outstanding – one of Europe's first logistics properties with this environmental classification built on speculation. The building has been prepared for solar panels on the roof and equipped with charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. As part of the sustainability work, 30-year-old oaks have been moved to the site and planted by the loading yard. Additionally, a hybrid heating solution has been installed that reduces operating costs and carbon emissions over the building's lifespan while increasing extra capacity and operational reliability. Material choices have been carefully evaluated throughout the project to reduce climate impact and operating costs, resulting in, for example seamless floors and smart control of the building's electricity consumption.

The property, developed in collaboration with investor CBRE Investment Management, has the best possible signage location along the E4 and offers flexible spaces that can be adapted for multiple tenants.
