Panattoni completes its first lease of a total of 14,300 m² in Landvetter
Panattoni, one of Europe’s leading developers of logistics properties, has successfully completed its first lease in Landvetter, just outside Gothenburg. This first lease on the Swedish market marks an important milestone for the company since its establishment in 2021. The tenant will move into the state-of-the-art logistics property Panattoni Park Landvetter as it is completed in Q1 2025.
Panattoni Park Landvetter is a Brownfield project, meaning that the previous, outdated building has been demolished and a modern logistics property has been constructed. The property will maintain high sustainability standards and be certified according to BREEAM Excellent.
– “It is great that we have managed to sign our first lease agreement with a strong player with a long lease. It is gratifying that we are making our first lease in Gothenburg in a very attractive logistics location and that the property is fully leased already during construction,” says Anders Thor Boutelje, Development Director at Panattoni in Sweden.
The logistics property is Panattoni’s first in the Gothenburg area and is located adjacent to Landvetter Airport. The facility will be able to offer the tenant strategic advantages for logistics and distribution operations throughout Sweden; a city-close logistics and industrial property with direct access to highway 40 and close to Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg Port. With a total area of approximately 14,300 square meters, the property has flexible and sustainable solutions adapted to the new tenant’s needs.
– “I am very pleased to have participated in this lease, which shows the increased demand for modern and flexible logistics premises in the region. Panattoni Park Landvetter offers an excellent location and state-of-the-art facilities that are fully adapted to the tenants’ needs. I look forward to continuing my collaboration with Panattoni and contributing to more successful establishments in the Swedish market,” says Jesper Carlsöö, Tenant Representative for the tenant.
Panattoni is optimistic about continued growth in the Nordics and is committed to delivering sustainable and efficient logistics solutions that meet today’s and tomorrow’s needs.
– “We are pleased with the trust to continue developing attractive logistics facilities together with Panattoni. We have a very good and rewarding collaboration where we have great consensus on the project’s sustainability goals, which bodes well for this to become a really fine facility. Now we are building for a specific tenant and will hand over a really great property adapted in the best way,” says Henrik Ljungdahl, CEO of MVB Väst, who has been involved in several of Panattoni’s projects.
