Paxymers VD invald i SPIFs styrelse
Amit Paul valdes nyligen till ordinarie styrelseledamot i SPIF, svensk plastindustriförening. Amit Paul och Karl Tibratt från Nordiska Plast är de nya tillskotten som ordinarie ledamöter och valdes in på två år. Både Amit och Karl har fått förnyat förtroende efter ett år som suppleanter. Sven-Olov Bergman från Bergmanplast och Yngve Andersson från Vårgårda industri tar över som nya suppleanter.
"Jag ser fram emot ytterligare ett år i styrelsen" säger Amit Paul "branschen är vid god vigör och vi har intressanta planer och aktiviteter på gång inom SPIF. Ett av våra mål är att bidra till att svensk plastindustri bibehåller sin konkurrenskraft och höga kvalitet."
SPIF kommer under det kommande året att fokusera på kunskap vid sidan av sin normala verksamhet kring avtalshjälp och coachning. Seminarieaktiviteter och en konferens för plastbranschen under tidig höst där ny, spännande teknik och nya material ska presenteras kommer bland annat att lanseras. Paxymer MD on the Swedish plastics industry association board
Amit Paul was recently elected a member of the board of SPIF, the swedish plastic industry association. Amit Paul and Karl Tibratt from Nordiska Plast was elected as new members of the board on a two year term after having spent one year as alternate members. Sven-Olov Bergman from Bergmanplast and Yngve Andersson from Vårgårda industri are new alternate members.
"I am looking forward to another year with the board" says Amit Paul "the industry is in a positive mood right now and we have some interesting new activities coming up that we hope will contribute to maintaining the competitiveness of the swedish plastics industry."
SPIFs aim during the coming year is to contribute and be a relevant partner to its members and apart from pushing industry issues and assisting member companies with agreements and coaching the association will focus on knowledge. Education and furthering of knowledge in the Swedish plastics industry is a challenge to ensure regrowth and competitiveness of the members. SPIF will for instance launch a conference for members focused on cutting edge technologies during the early fall.

Paxymer AB offers a flame retardant system free of persistent, bioaccumulating and toxic substances (PBT and CMR).
