New Intempo Rebel Shows Western European Consumers a New Way of Finding Music STOCKHOLM— February 21, 2008 — PopCatcher, empowering consumers to discover new music and artists on the radio and on the Internet, announced today that Intempo Digital Ltd. is including its technology in the new Intempo Rebel product line. The April release of the Intempo Rebel marks the first time that PopCatcher’s technology is available to consumers throughout Europe. “As a music brand, Intempo is always looking for new technology to better serve our customers,” said Katie Richards, Marketing Manager at Intempo. “We were eager to launch Rebel to allow our customers easy access to their favorite music. Intempo is proud to work with PopCatcher and be the first company to offer this type of technology in the majority of Europe.” With the use of PopCatcher’s patented technology, The Intempo Rebel filters out all talk, commercials and jingles on FM and Internet radio stations, leaving only a new digital play list that can constantly be refreshed. Consumers can find new music by downloading the songs to their MP3 player. A USB host port facilitates the easy transfer of the play list to a wide variety of MP3 players and mobile phones. It is available in either glowing red or shiny piano black colors. The Intempo Rebel is manufactured by Eastech Electronics (Taiwan) Inc., which also licenses the PopCatcher technology. The product is imported into the Scandinavian market by Tura Scandinavia.
