Team Power Woman Athletic Club

Since the first moment I came up with the idea of creating Power Woman, my vision has always been to promote women’s health both mentally and physically. I honestly believe that we are better equipped to take on life’s challenges if we live a healthy lifestyle. It has always been important to me, to help, support and encourage others to start training as well as staying on track, even more so, since I have noticed how much it has changed my own life.

Power Woman is so much more than sportswear, together we make a team of individuals whose drive, and main goal is to support each other. I really wanted to create a loving community where everyone always feels welcome. It’s not important if you are a professional or a beginner. The only ”requirement” I have, is that we are kind to each other.

A membership at Team Power Woman is free of charge, because we want everyone to have the opportunity to be a part of our team.

We share our ideas, give each other advise and we always support each other. A lot of people that I have talked too, have had a hard time finding existing associations that they felt comfortable to join. This was one of the main reasons why it was extra important to me, to create an association without too much heat, pressure and without a tough attitude. Our association is the opposite, our foundation is built on love and well-meaning. Since we are a non-profit association, this means that all of our Ambassadors as well as our Club Manager arrange activities and support our members on their spare time without compensation. They do so because it’s fun, an important mission and they are driven by supporting others.

We are members of the Swedish National Sports Association, The Swedish Triathlon Association, The Swedish Cycling Federation and The Swedish Ski Federation. This allows you to compete with a license in our Team Power Woman Athletic Club.

Möt Anna Wretling som var 38 år när hon tog sina första löpsteg. Löpsteg som triggade henne att utmana sig själv ända tills hon stod på toppen på Norseman Xtreme Triathlon – världens hårdaste endagarslopp. Med samma målmedvetenhet har hon skapat det exklusiva sportmärket Power Woman. Av kvinnor – för kvinnor.

If you follow her on Instagram, you will see how she crawls up slopes, balances on bridges, tests ballet and does yoga exercises with her children. Ticking an Ironman off the list is only a part of the great training puzzle. – I was one out of seventeen women who reached the summit in the Norseman (the world's toughest extreme triathlon). It was something I'll never forget, says Anna.
