SS26 – a summer collection made to live with you
Almedahls Home presents the Spring/Summer 2026 collection – where the soul of the archive meets a contemporary sense of colour, shape and everyday living. These textiles are not designed to steal the spotlight, but to become a natural part of the home: easy to love, effortless to live with, and hard to grow tired of.
SS26 is a collection for long breakfasts, open windows, and table settings worth lingering over. Made for homes where patterns and colour bring warmth, personality and calm – all at once.
Ailanthus pot holder in light multi, and kitchen towels in the patterns Italian Wine in pink/green and Fruit Punch in yellow/blue.
Ailanthus, available both as a tablecloth and fabric by the metre, creates a summery and welcoming feel for the set table.
Ailanthus – an archive pattern in a bright summer version
When Ailanthus launched in autumn 2024, it quickly became a favourite thanks to its floating leaf shapes and airy expression. In SS26, Ailanthus returns in a new light and summery colourway that lets the organic forms take even more space.
The pattern was created by Louise Carling in the 1970s and is sourced from Almedahls’ rich archive – now gently updated for bright interiors and modern homes, where details speak softly but with confidence.
Fauna – a blooming summer meadow for the table
Fauna is a pattern that feels instantly familiar. With its softly shaped, stylised flowers and a charmingly naïve expression, it brings to mind another time, yet still feels completely right today.
For SS26, Fauna is launched in a new palette of green, blue and yellow, giving the pattern a fresh and balanced look. The result is textiles that feel just as at home in a city kitchen as in a summer house dining room – perfect for table settings where simplicity and summer vibes go hand in hand.
Italian Wine & Fruit Punch – playful graphics made for everyday life
Inspired by the archive pattern Lemon Squash, Almedahls has created two new tea towels with a graphic, pared-back expression. Italian Wine and Fruit Punch draw from the timeless aesthetic of the 1950s, meeting the present day through soft, modern colour combinations.
They are made to be used, often, but also to be seen. Functional everyday pieces that add character to the kitchen without taking over.
180 years of textiles that matter
Almedahls was founded in 1846 and carries nearly two centuries of textile history. In 2026, the company celebrates 180 years, a milestone that is about far more than numbers.
It tells a story of boldness, craftsmanship and design, but also a constant ambition to evolve alongside the lives and needs of people today. During autumn 2026, special anniversary products will be launched, connecting past, present and future, with the same respect for materials, patterns and practical use that has always been at the heart of Almedahls.
