The year 2023 was a year of innovation and increased relevance. What do we mean by this then? Well, let us tell you. And all of you who receive and read this - without all of you it would never have been possible!

We at CarbonZero AB and Prodikt have always listened to our users and partners. This is why the Prodikt platform looks the way it does today. That's also why it will include several different new powerful features next year.

Prodikt Next Generation will be launched at the beginning of 2024 and is the answer to the increased needs and wishes of customers, users, and the market. The updated powerful new version of Prodikt includes, among other things, a more optimized building LCA, Intelligent Portfolio Dashboard, AI-enhanced 3D import and visualization, an automated energy module and seamless compliance with specification.

The number of projects in Prodikt increases steadily and so does the number of project customers and users. Today, we collaborate with many leading Swedish real estate companies. Through Prodikt, for example, property developers and builders can calculate and evaluate climate impact, circularity, health risks, save time during certifications and make selections based on the technical performance of products and systems. This makes them ready for the goals that the industry must achieve based on the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, the Climate Declaration Act (in Sweden) and our respective internal targets.

Prodikt has shifted up and expanded its offer through a unique service partner program. Through the program, cutting-edge competences in various aspects of sustainability are now trained and made available to the platform's project customers.

The number of brands/material manufacturers and construction products is progressively increasing in Prodikt. This provides fantastic opportunities for the entire industry to work with product-specific data and build more sustainably. When a product is made available in Prodikt, its data/information becomes accessible for everyone, whether it is a user looking for products through the project tool in Prodikt or an actor who retrieves product data for sales purposes.

The requirements to report the climate footprint are increasing everywhere and by signing agreements with various building product distributors and databases/tools, we can share data and continue to simplify for their customers and drive development in the industry. Today, for example, we actively collaborate with Derome, Optimera, Beijer Byggmaterial and Bidcon.

During 2023, we have participated in many different events such as fairs, conferences, and seminars. This gives us opportunities to meet and interact with our target audiences in real life. We are constantly learning a lot of new things in these human meetings, and we really want to thank everyone we ran into out there this year.

We have also gained a lot of new employees in 2024, both on the industry/service side and the project side. This increases our ability to provide you with the best possible service and guidance.

BIMobjectwas previously the main owner of CarbonZero AB, which has the Prodikt platform. Within CarbonZero, we also do Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). BIMobject has now further invested in us and now owns 100%. This contributes to a stable future with many opportunities for progressive further development of our offer, expansion, and our ability to solve your specific challenges.
