New features in the project tool: Building component division and degree of coverage (täckningsgrad)
It has long been possible to work with building component division in your project with the tags function as an aid, either via a manual procedure or that it is included from 3D model import (IFC) or Excel/calculation import. To make things even easier, BSAB 96 and SBEF's building component division has now been implemented as an opportunity to automatically have your project divided according to these categorizations.
The coverage degree function was previously available in the Climate declaration module. Now it also makes an entrance directly into the project tool as an opportunity to be able to count on a degree of coverage that affects the result already in the project compilation.

Products without environmental product declarations (EPD)
An EPD is the only valid way to declare a climate impact on a product, therefore building material producers should aim to cover their portfolio with EPDs. This is a transition in the industry that takes time. Therefore, we have now made it possible for products to be registered without EPD coverage. The product data made available is the same as for products with EPDs, except that the climate impact is not reported until you, the user, have actively selected the climate source for the product. The climate impact thus becomes generic for the product (which is always a factor of uncertainty), however, we enable the projects through this change to save time and for the producer to make available all other product data than just specific climate data.

Prodikt was a premium partner at Nordic Digital Construction
Prodikt, together with BIMobject, was a premium partner and exhibitor at a new event on the digitization of the construction industry. Nordic Digital Construction | BIM World Copenhagen was organized on 19–20 September in Copenhagen. About 160 knowledge-hungry professionals in the construction process participated.
The event focused on how the industry can better embrace the digital opportunities and realize the potential these digital tools and workflows represent.

Reflections from the Almedal Week in Visby
This was the second time that CarbonZero – Prodikt participated in the Almedal Week - the world's largest democratic meeting place for social issues. Courses in climate declaration with the Prodikt platform
Did you know that you can climate-declare new construction in Prodikt? In addition, we arrange the course "Climate declarations - theory and practice". It is a one-day training, divided into two half-days, modules 1 and 2 – one more theoretical and one practical. The training goal is to gain a holistic understanding of the climate declaration and to be able to practically carry out one in Prodikt. Certificate of education is issued.
