Sambla launches new app in Norway to strengthen customers everyday finances

Sambla Group has launched the new Sambla app in Norway, giving consumers a clearer overview of their everyday finances and a simpler way to build healthier financial habits over time. By visualising loans and credits with data, the app gathers loans and credit cards in one place so users can see their full financial situation and understand how everyday choices affect their private economy.

“With the launch of our app in Norway, we are taking an important step towards becoming the long‑term personal finance partner for consumers in the Nordics. Our ambition is not only to help people lower their costs today, but to support them in building stronger financial habits over time so they can feel more secure and in control of their money,” says Hans Skruvfors, Chief Executive Officer of Sambla Group.

The app is designed from the customer perspective, focusing on making it easier to reduce costs, avoid unnecessary interest payments and take control of debt. Instead of logging in to different banks and lenders, users get a single view of their loans and credit cards directly in their phone, along with guidance that supports smarter decisions in everyday life.

Many consumers experience their finances as fragmented and difficult to manage. By visualising loans and credits with data, the app helps users see the whole picture of their debt and identify where there is room to improve their private economy, both in the short term and over time.

“With the Sambla app, we want to make it easier for our Norwegian customers to actually understand their finances, not just look at a number on a screen. By visualising loans and credits with data, we can give a more honest view of someone’s situation and make it easier to take the next step, whether that is consolidating loans, paying down debt or just getting a bit more control,” says Fabian Grimelund, Managing Director, Sambla Norway.

The launch in Norway is an important milestone in Sambla Group’s ambition to become the trusted personal finance partner in the Nordics. The app brings together key tools and information so users can monitor their loans, compare options and gradually build stronger financial habits, all from their phone.

Key features in the first version of the Sambla app in Norway include:

  1. A visual overview that helps users understand their current financial situation
  2. Access to loan applications and loan consolidation options
  3. Comparisons that help users choose between different credit card products
  4. Easy access to mortgage loan comparison support
  5. Personal finance content and tips that support better decisions in everyday life

New features will be added on an ongoing basis, with a focus on more personal insights, clear guidance and simple habit building tools that can nudge people in a better direction day by day.

“This launch is only the beginning. We will continue to develop the app with features designed to make a real difference in people’s everyday finances. Our goal is straightforward, to help people in Norway feel more secure, lower their costs and gain greater control of their money,” says Fabian Grimelund.
