Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions to display a wide spectrum of innovative offerings and knowledge at the Euro Mine Expo

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions will showcase our latest technologies and innovations at the Euro Mine Expo, an event in Skellefteå, Sweden, from June 14^th-16^th, 2022.

Indoors, we will welcome visitors to booth number 118 in the Zinc-hall to discuss our offerings in automation, electrification, underground and surface mining equipment, rock tools, parts and services and much more.

We will also have an exhibit outside showcasing TH550B, the only battery-electric powered underground truck with a 50-tonne capacity in the industry. The truck combines Sandvik’s 50 years of experience in developing loaders and trucks with Artisan’s innovative electric drivelines and battery packs.

Visitors can also check out a Leopard™ DI650i down-the-hole drill rig for surface mining at our outdoor booth. Leopard™ DI650i is an intelligent, self-contained diesel-powered drill rig designed for high-capacity production drilling applications in surface mining and large-scale quarry applications. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about our AutoMine® Surface Drilling automation system.

Our experts will also be on hand to share their knowledge on a range of modern-day mining topics. On June 14^th, Vice President of Business Unit Automation at Sandvik David Hallet will host a session called “Mine of the future”, focusing on trends around automation and digitalization. And on June 15^th, Brian Huff, Vice President of Technology and Product Line, will discuss mining electrification in a presentation called “Sandvik BEV – Real Equipment for the Real World”. He will talk about what we have learned over the years about battery-electric offerings and offer insights into recent trials with our latest products which have helped pave the way for broad market adoption.
