SCIENTOLOGI - KAMMARKOLLEGIET GRANTS RIGHT TO MARRY TO TWO SCIENTOLOGY MINISTERS
In an official decision, published the 11 of April 2011, has the Kammarkollegiet in Stockholm granted two Swedish Scientology ministers the right to marry in Churches of Scientology in Sweden. Any such marriage is legally binding under the Swedish law.
Both ministers, Mia Andersson and Tarja Vulto, are long-term Scientologists and staffmembers of the Church.
"We are very happy with the decision and the right granted to us by the Kammarkollegiet. This decision not only recognizes us personally for what we are but also recognizes the true nature of the Scientology religion as a basis upon which a family can build its future", says Tarja Vulto.
"The first marriage that I will conduct as newly ordained minister will take place on 21 May at 14:00 in the Chapel of the Church of Scientology in Arlöv. The marrying couple have expressed the wish to invite not only their family and friends but also anyone who is interested to observe this Scientology marriage ritual and they are welcome also at the reception afterwards", says Tarja Vulto.
The Church of Scientology of Sweden, with Churches in Stockholm, Göteborg and Sweden, was recognized as a religious community under the Swedish Constitution by decision of the Kammarkollegiet in 2000.
