Join us on October 26th for an evening seminar and After Work where we will unfold the IoT personal data exposure and threats.
As the IoT technology is blooming and is getting more and more present in our daily life, we open a lot of smaller or bigger doors into our privacy. Should we be concerned about the potential exposure and how to protect ourselves?
Blagoj Kupev, Embedded Systems enthusiast with more than 15 years of experience, will speak on this topic.
During the seminar you will:
- Learn about importance of personal data potentially exposed and risks introduced by installing different IoT devices in your home and a wearable device.
- Get introduction of what to take care about when installing IoT device
- Get to know basics of home router firewall configuration
- Learn about basics of device’s system security.

Blagoj Kupev, Divison manager Seavus, is an Embedded Systems enthusiast with more than 15 years of experience in designing embedded systems for diverse technology domains for large companies who are major players in mobile technology. During his engagement in design and development of embedded solutions, he´s been focused with a significant part of his time on digital security and creation of secure and robust systems for installation of software from trusted sources only. Besides these areas of interest, his expertise also covers secure booting of embedded devices which is one of the most significant element in creation of secure systems.
