SICK Linköping celebrates the launch of a new product that reduces waste in production

With the TrispectorP SICK launches a groundbreaking new product, combining 3D imaging technique with the software framework for programming solutions. The TrispectorP 3D vision camera is the result of over 30 years of experience and excellence in 3D imaging and processing.

The TrispectorP is the proud achievement of an excellent cooperation in a geographically distributed team consisting of about a dozen Development Engineers, Application Engineers and the Marketing Communications team in Linköping, Sweden and in Reute, Germany, as well as the Swedish Product Manager Nina Hammerin.

The TrispectorP can be used for numerous different applications, e.g. for quality inspection of items in a production line, to check volume, shape and dimensions, robotic 3D belt picking or to check the correctness of each assembly step as an item is being produced.

With the assembly check, for example in the assembly of electronic parts, it is possible to find errors as early as possible in the process. This leads to a decrease in harmful electronic waste and a clearly positive impact on the environmental burden during the production. “For this reason, the TrispectorP is an important tool for our customers’ efforts towards a more sustainable production”, says Nina Hammerin, Product Manager for TrispectorP.
