Event Registration Made Easy

Simple Signup is a new web based service that makes it easy for event organizers to accept registrations and payments for their events. The service is open to everybody and it can be used for big and small events of all kinds - everything from private parties, concerts, sports, conferences, courses, to club memberships. Small event organizers typically face the mundane task of manually keeping track of attendees and payments - a task that can be both frustrating, time consuming, and error prone. With Simple Signup attendees pay the organizer online with credit card when they register. This effectively solves the issue of keeping track of payments and making sure that all attendees have paid. If you haven't paid then you haven't registered. It's that simple. In many cases this eliminates a financial risk for the organizer. In addition, Simple Signup allows the organizer to customize the signup form for the event in order to collect exactly the information needed from the attendees.

In overview, here is how Simple Signup works:

  • The event organizer registers her event at simpleeventsignup.com and gets her own signup page online. The organizer can email a link to the signup page to invite attendees or add the link to her own homepage.
  • Attendees signup and pay online via the signup page
  • The organizer gets a complete attendee list and knows that everybody on the list has paid. Money is transfered to the organizers bank account.

Simple Signup is available in both a swedish and an english version. International credit card payments are handled by Paypal. For swedish payments Simple Signup can handle the payment processing and transfer the money directly to the organizers bank account. The company Simple Signup AB was founded by Bodil Abelsson and Peter Marklund in may 2008. The founders have extensive experience in payment transactions and web development. The idea for the company originates from the founders own experiences as event organizers. Simple Signup is supported by the swedish incubator Iqube and was selected among 200 applicants to be part of Pre-Iqube, an initiative to support female entrepreneurs.
