Alidra Alic, fine jewlry in SLOWFASHIONhouse
The Company Alidra Alić was founded in 2008, and Alidra soon established a unique position for the company by creating a conceptual universe within contemporary jewelry.
The starting points of her work are handcrafted contemporary jewelry pieces — statements of art, worn by those who dare. She expresses her concept in plastic combined with precious metals and stones using a self-developed technique.
The contemporary collection is sold from Alidra's showroom as well as from exhibitions at international galleries & museums.
In SLOWFASHIONhouse you will find the Alidra's fine jewelry collection — a derived series of wearable pieces in silver: plain, oxidized and gold plated.
Alidra was born in 1979. After Latin and Art History studies, Alidra studied at The Copenhagen Institute of Precious Metals, from which she graduated in 2008. Her studies were supplemented and refined by working experiences in several workshops in Denmark, Sweden and Italy before she started her own company in 2008.
Her work is published and shown at galleries and museums worldwide, and was given a special mention at the prestigious Lucca Preziosa YOUNG '09 exhibition of contemporary jewelry.
The Alidra Alić team includes a close collaboration with the two photographers Katrine Rohrberg and Dorte Krogh.
