International Hairstylist Mr Daniel Scott

HAIRSTYLIST / CREATIVE ARTIST DANIEL SCOTT

We are more than happy to announce that international Hairstylist and Creative Director Daniel Scott will be joining forces with Maria Oldenstedt here at WHYY.

Hairstylist and Creative Director Mr Daniel Scott has alwayes been one of the hairstylist out there that makes an instant impact as a massive creative force within the hair industry. With a solid education from Vidal Sasson and a drive that inspires everybody.

He started his career with Vidal Sasson and then jumped over to Tony & Guy
where he became the only Artistic director, teacher and manager for their salons in the USA. 

Achievements: 
· USMC 1983-1985 meritorious promotion from basic training.
· Toni & Guy employee of the year 1993, 1994, 1995
· Toni & Guy best stylist 1996
· Toni & Guy best manager 1996
· Toni & Guy customer service 1996
· Regis Corporation , hired as a Supervisor responsible for 17 stores.
No other supervisor had 17 stores.
· Regis Corporation, promoted to Regional manager after 6 months. Over
seeing 46 salon in 4 states and Puerto Rico.
· Toni & Guy employee of month in 1997, 1998, 1999.
· Toni & Guy photographic awards, first place 1999

Daniel Scott has won numerous awards, everything from best hairdresser, manager and teacher in the USA , Woman looks of the year award at 2 occasions. He won the mens look of the year at the Alexander Palace London and also award as Hairdresser of the year here in Sweden.

Daniel and Maria will build up an advanced creative hair team working within the hair/beauty and fashion scene. This inspirational team will be working on building up educational seminars
and create hair/beauty events and fashion events.

Both Daniel and Maria brings something unique to the table and as a team.
They will create something we all together feel will be truly spectacular.

Daniel will start up this collaboration as a creative guest artist here at
WHYY 4-5 days and Maria will in this also spend a couple of days every month at Daniel Scotts studio in Göteborg as a Guest artist and creative.

Daniel usually works and has his own creative platform / salon in Göteborg.
It is located at the wonderful Kungsgatan - Daniel Scott Studio,
Where Daniel works with an artistic team of dedicated hairdressers and stylists.

Since Maria is apart of Schwarzkopf s Creative team / Essential Looks
and Daniel work very close with them on a creative level and seminars,
this is more than a perfect match.

This is one step ahead for our dream and future collaborations.

Behind this collaboration is of course Schwarzkopf Professional as a sponsor and collaborator

BACKGROUND : MARIA OLDENSTEDT – Hair Stylist / Make up artist
Maria Oldenstedt won the prestigious Hairdresser of the year award / Avant-Garde - 2008
She was one of the top  finalists in World Wide Hair Tour 2009 were 67 countries was competing.
Muse Industries has also invited Maria to write 4 pages in their book *The best 100 hairstylists in the world*
that will be released 2011-2012.

Today Maria have signed sponsor contracts with some of the elite companies in the world
And she is working close with them with advertisement material and catwalks

Maria is a well established artist in the fashion industry,both in Sweden and internationally.
With her unique style and sense of color and shape Maria is a popular hair stylist & makeup artist.

and creations,and with a never ending true passion for her craftsmanship.

Daniel is a international well known award-winning hairstylist and creative artist.
He our new Creative force at WHYY and also Marias team member,
for the creative team we are building up alongside with our Collaborators and Sponsors.
Daniel is only available by special bookings and requests

Vicki Nilsson.
A wonderful hairdresser/stylist that will run the salon and manage all the platform work.
Vicki is Maria main assistant hairstylist and in charge of customer support and eductations.

Karolina Danielson
Hairdresser/make up artist that will manage hairstyling and make up events att WHYY

alongside with Maria, and also Marias right hand in all her freelance work.

Maria is very proud to be apart of Schwarzkopf professional creative team in Sweden as their Session Stylist.
Beside running the salon she will be traveling around with Schwarzkopf Creative Team to showcase
Essential Looks and other hair shows and events from Schwarzkopf Professional.
Schwarzkopf are Marias main partner and sponsor for all the work in and outside the salon.
They are also behind the creative platform and training for the salon and all our hair stylists.

Maria is Toupema Belgals Creative & Artistic Stylist and will work with them to create new
creative ideas for workshops and tours. The team from Toupema Belgal will also work close with Maria
in her fashion work and events.
Toupema Belgal is Marias partner and sponsor of everything when it comes to hair / wigs and accessories
and helps her to stay on the edge of  hair fashion and new trends.

TENDENZ / EXCELLENT EDGES

Maria is honored to be Tendenz/Ecxellent Edges Creative stylist in Sweden.
She is working with their wonderful handcrafted scissors in all her work.
Educated by the Master sissor-smith Tim Payne alongside
with Scandinavian rep Claus Nissen and famous Australian hairdresser Carl Keeley,
that works as Excellent Edges international creative stylist.
Maria will be having seminars and workshops alongside with Tendenz/ Excellent Edges
around in Sweden and Scandinavia.
