STIGA Sports is launching German-made table tennis rubber

STIGA Sports is very proud to announce its latest table tennis rubber series, DNA, the company's first table tennis rubber to be manufactured in Germany.

“This rubber series is a milestone in our 75-year history and an extremely important step towards our goal of becoming the most established table tennis brand in the world," says Andreas Zandrén, CEO of STIGA Sports.

“We've developed and adapted these rubbers for a wide variety of playing levels and styles, from young talents who are just starting to discover the art of gluing their own rubber, to professional players who only settle for the very best.

We are seeing an increase in demand for German-made table tennis rubbers, especially from the world’s main table tennis markets in Asia, Germany and France. It has taken almost two years to develop this series. A development process in which we have worked very close together with the best players in the world. Primarily Chinese national team players, but also with the Swedish talent Truls Möregårdh. This in order to ensure quality and performance.”

The DNA series consists of the models Future and Pro. DNA Future is an entry-level model which offers a lot of control and is suitable for different playing styles, while DNA Pro is aimed at experienced players who focus on speed with a lot of spin. The rubbers will also be available in a variety of hardness and thickness so that the player can further improve their game.

The DNA series will officially be launched in limited edition on the STIGA Sports website on 1 October. A worldwide launch through subsidiaries and retailers will follow later in October.
