Dinner in America is awarded the Audience Award 2020
Stockholm International Film Festival is pleased to announce that Dinner in America, by Adam Rehmeier, wins the prestigious Audience Award 2020. The film is a punk hymn to all weirdos and was also the most watched film on the festival's digital platform Festival on Demand.
Each year, Stockholm Film Festival lets the audience choose the winner of one of the most important prizes awarded during the festival – the Audience Award. Via a digital survey, festival visitors have been able to vote for their favorite film among the 75 films shown at this year's festival between 11-22 November 2020.
Here is the list of the 10 most popular films at this year's festival, voted for by the festival visitors themselves.
- Dinner in America
- Nomadland
- Berlin Alexanderplatz
- Greta
- Persian Lessons
- The World To Come
- Identifying Features
- Falling
- Summer of 85
- Nowhere Special

Stockholm International Film Festival| 11-22 November 2020
Stockholm International Film Festival started in 1990 and is one of the leading film festivals in Europe. During twelve intense days in November the festival presents 150 film premieres from more than 60 countries. In 2020, 75 films will be screened in cinemas and via the festival’s digital platform, due to the current pandemic. We also arrange exclusive screenings for our members throughout the year, Sommarbio in August, mobile film workshops for kids and teenagers and Stockholm Film Festival Junior, 19-24 April, in 2021.
WE LOVE FILM!
