Five Nordic filmmakers compete for the new prize Nordic Wave at Stockholm Industry Days
This year Stockholm Industry Days launches the new award Nordic Wave. The visitors are welcome to join a celebration of emerging visionary filmmakers. Five of them are nominated and will take part in a live competition for a prize worth of 400 000 SEK in post production support.
In this year’s edition of Stockholm Industry Days, November 12–14, you are invited to a live pitching competition. Nordic filmmakers working on their first, second, or third long-format projects—will present their next project on stage before a jury and audience of industry professionals.
They all compete for the prize worth of 400 000 SEK that includes advanced color grading and access to Sweden’s premier Dolby Atmos Theatrical mixing stage at Tint’s state-of-the-art facilities in Gothenburg.
Nominated this year are:
Oscar Zemarti, writer/director/producer living in Finland, nominated with "OFFSCREEN: A HANDFUL OF WAR TALES"
Alecio Araci, multifaceted director trained at the Valand Academy in Gothenburg, nominated with "ROGUES"
Elin Övergraad, director and screenwriter, based in Stockholm, nominated with "THE BLOWFISH"
