Global hit-series Yellowstone will have its Nordic premiere at the Stockholm International Film Festival 12 November - tickets are released today

Stockholm International Film Festival and streaming partner SkyShowtime are proud to announce that the critically acclaimed TV series Yellowstone will premiere Season 5 Part B at this year's festival. The festival will screen the first episode of the highly anticipated series at Bio Skandia.

The series, created by the acclaimed Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, will make its festival debut on 12 November, before screening exclusively on SkyShowtime on 14 November. Yellowstone has captivated audiences around the world. As part of the Nordic premiere on 12 November, fans are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the series by dressing in Yellowstone-inspired attire - dust off those cowboy hats and boots!

Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.

Yellowstone is co-created by Oscar®-nominated screenwriterTaylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water and Sicario) and John Linson. Executive producers include John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros and Keith Cox. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The series has already created great anticipation among critics and audiences around the world, and now Stockholm International Film Festival audiences will have the chance to watch the second part of the fifth Season on the big screen.

Stockholm International Film Festival runs from 6-17 November 2024 and more films will be released continuously throughout the autumn.

Seasons 1-5 of Yellowstone are available to stream now as a boxset, only on SkyShowtime.
