Stockholm International Film Festival and Polestar to launch the world's first In-Car Film Festival

Stockholm International Film Festival enters an exclusive partnership with Polestar the electric performance car brand where a selection of films from this year's festival program will be accessible to Polestar 2-owners in Sweden. The Stockholm Film Festival takes place between 10-21 November and all films on the Festival on Demand platform will be accessible to Polestar 2-owners free of charge.

– The partnership with Polestar enables a brand-new way to see premiering films, comfortably in your car. Together with Polestar we have founded the world’s first "In-Car Film Festival" where more people will get access to the best quality films of the year, says Git Scheynius, Festival Director at the Stockholm International Film Festival.

Thanks to the Stockholm Film Festival’s digital Festival on Demand platform and the Polestar infotainment system’s open Android platform, Polestar 2 becomes the world's first 'In-Car Film Festival'. The films can be watched at Polestar integrated screen display while the car stands still. 

Polestar 2 is the Stockholm Film Festival’s Official Festival Car 2021.
