In spite of the economic recession, the PulPaper 2004 exhibition came through with flying colours. There were 922 suppliers from 33 countries exhibiting at the trade show, which was attended with more than 16.000 visitors from a record breaking 70 countries. Among the visitors was a large contingent of Chinese and Russian papermakers. The exhibition at PulPaper is today one of the leading places for meetings between suppliers and pulp and paper industry representatives. Kaj Ekström, managing director of Hägglunds Drives Oy says. "As Pulp & Paper is one of the biggest and the most important business segment in Finland for Hägglunds Drives, we consider PulPaper exhibition as the most important contact forum. PulPaper 2004 was in all aspects the best exhibition ever held. The quality and number of customers was on an expected level. The 6th International Exhibition for suppliers to the Pulp, Paper, Board and Converting Industries - PulPaper 2007 will be held at the Helsinki Fair centre, 5-7 June 2007. The PulPaper event 2007 will include international conferences, exhibition as well as paper mill visits.
