Jens Lapidus starts production company together with "SNABBA CASH" producer

Best-selling author Jens Lapidus is starting a production company together with Nicklas Wikström Nicastro, the producer behind the Oscar-nominated A Man Called Ove and the acclaimed Netflix series Snabba Cash. With their shared passion for storytelling, they want to create feature films and TV drama that connects with the audience on a deeper level.

In recent years, Jens Lapidus has become increasingly involved in the creation of films and TV series, most recently with the highly praised Netflix series Snabba Cash. It has now been confirmed that he will start his own production company together with the Snabba Cash series' producer Nicklas Wikström Nicastro.

- Nicklas and I have worked together in several productions in recent years and together we have found a way of expression that we now want to develop with Strive Stories. I love the teamwork that the creative process entails, many ideas are born first in dialogue with other creative people. In that meeting, one plus one becomes more than two, says Jens Lapidus.

Strive Stories is an independent production company that will create top level TV drama and feature films, but the idea is that it will be more than just entertainment:

- Reaching a large audience is of course central, but we also want everything we do to make a real impact and have a deeper meaning. In addition to engaging the audience with really good entertainment, we want to say something about the world we live in, Jens Lapidus continues.

Nicklas Wikström Nicastro has extensive experience in producing both TV series and feature films, including the twofold Oscar-nominated A Man Called Ove. Most recently, he came from the role of Producer at SF Studios, where he is behind the critically acclaimed Netflix series Snabba Cash together with, among others, Jens Lapidus.

- For me, the creation of film and TV drama is mainly about passion, but also drive and a need to do this at the highest possible level. The key to achieving this is always about bringing together the best creators and finding a common vision. To create the best conditions for a collaboration where everyone involved gets a maximum outlet for their ideas and their talent, says Nicklas Wikström Nicastro and continues:

- The idea that Jens and I have with Strive Stories is to create exactly that, an independent production company where the creative process and the will to turn grand and meaningful stories into film and TV, is at the center.

The two founders are now in what they describe as an exciting construction phase that is all about creating and further developing ideas and projects. Partly ongoing productions but they are also looking to start new creative collaborations.

- To achieve our vision with Strive Stories, we will need to grow, so the plan for the coming year is to hire creatives and expand our team. We want to build a company driven by creativity, passion and love of content, says Nicklas Wikström Nicastro.
