Well, how do you create the most perfect bag possible? For SUBTECH, the first order of business was to come up with a prototype and later contact a bunch of crazy athletes for testing in order to receive the most transparent input possible about good versus bad features. For instance, what do you need when diving 50 meters below the surface? How can you make a bag durable enough to withstand being thrown out of planes? Questions like these were constantly being asked by SUBTECH’s founder Erik Lyth, and later answered by a wide range of individuals who have tested the bags in the most extreme environments on earth. Therefore, after years of development by product specialists, professional athletes, US Airforce, and other special forces groups worldwide – it is finally time to officially bring SUBTECH bags out for resale.

Working with innovative solutions has for a long time been the core of SUBTECH and two of their signature products that really sticks out include the PRO DRYBAG 45L and the PRO DRYBAG 100L. Not only are the bags 100% waterproof down to 50 meters/165 feet, but they are also shockproof and include a design that allows the user to attach a smart pack system if so desired. The PRO DRYBAG 45L also has a patent pending integrated SHOCKPROOF INFLATABLE SYSTEM that allows the user to inflate/deflate air quickly whenever needed. Solutions like these are invented to make every adventure as perfect as possible, while at the same time keeping crucial equipment dry and safe. Before sending out each product to customers, every sold bag is pre-tested and submerged in a water tank for a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure the quality of the product.

Even though the bag in itself is impressive, the organizational culture that is affiliated with SUBTECH is certainly worth some thought given their identity as an outdoor sports brand that is typically linked to extreme adventures.
