Fredagen den 28 september, korades vinnarna av MegAward i kategorierna Årets förnyare och Årets raket. Pristagarna tog emot sina utmärkelser på Mediescenen i Meg-området på Bokmässan.

Rekordmånga nomineringar har kommit in till årets upplaga av MegAward. Både privatpersoner och organisationer har nominerats i kategorierna Årets förnyare och Årets normbrytare. Finalisterna utses inom kort och den 27 september presenteras årets vinnare i samband med ett mingel på Meg17.
Årets Förnyare, Årets Rekrytering och Årets Startup inom mediebranschen – idag delades MegAward ut i tre kategorier på Meg – Mediedagarna i Göteborg.
Från 2016 utökas MegAward med två nya priskategorier. Det är dags att höja blicken och uppmärksamma även Årets Startup och Årets Rekrytering. MegAward instiftades 2012 med kategorin Årets Förnyare och har hittills delats ut tre gånger. Den gemensamma nämnaren är nytänkande och det som för mediebranschen in i framtiden.
Satsningen prisas för att ha visat på en ny väg för framtidens medieaktörer.
Idag presenteras de nominerade till MegAward, priset som tilldelas årets förnyare i medievärlden. De tre finalister som valts ut av juryn är: Aftonbladet TV, Kvinnohat och Uppsala Nya Tidning. Vinnaren avslöjas vid en ceremoni den 6 mars, i samband med Meg14.
På kvällen den 7 mars avslöjas vem som vinner MegAward som årets förnyare i medievärlden. Kampen står mellan fyra finalister som juryn valt bland drygt trettiotalet inlämnade förslag.
Nu är juryn klar för MegAward, det nyinstiftade priset till årets förnyare i mediebranschen som delas ut vid Mediedagarna i Göteborg 7–8 mars 2013. – Vi har fått ihop ett riktigt ”all star team” av kunniga och respekterade profiler från olika delar av medievärlden, säger Åsa Bernlo, ansvarig på Meg.
