"Most of my inspiration to everything comes from anything"

Swecare is an exciting workplace where no two days are the same. We believe in bringing in new mindsets and young talent. Therefore, we are delighted to have welcomed our third intern!

Meet our intern Dylan, student from Södertörn University, Stockholm

What do you do here at Swecare? I assist in developing communication strategies and how we can expand the creative work to intrigue international health- and life science actors to work with Swecare in our effort to get better healthcare all around the globe. I am also analysing the environment on online platforms and working with creating engaging and appealing designs for social media posts and printed material.

Tell us about your typical day? I usually begin my workday by going trough what needs to be done and focusing on projects depending on time-relevancy, for instance learning more about World Sepsis Day and other global thematical healthcare days in order to spread awareness and inform how Sweden approaches these issues. Together with the communications team we help each other in starting new projects, tips and tricks, how we can develop our strategies and expand our audience with the help of creating good material that promotes Sweden and more.

Where do you get your inspiration from? Most of my inspiration to everything comes from anything. It affects me in small bursts, mostly when stumbling upon a nice design, a good song, someone is wearing a nice outfit, fashion, photography, fragrances and mostly anything creative. Random acts, people and situations can make me feel inspired, but as of now there is not a specific person or piece of work that exclusively makes me feel inspired.

What do you know now that you didn’t know before? How good Sweden actually is when it comes to healthcare and research. It is a rather small country so Sweden’s part in developing better global healthcare for all got overlooked, at least on my part.

Lives: Stockholm
Family: An older sister, a younger sister and a younger brother.
Education: Aesthetics and Media, English and currently finishing my essay for my candidate in Media and Communication Studies at Södertörn University.
Hobbies: Making and listening to music, fashion (second hand is the key) and watching movies at the cinema with my girlfriend.

How many languages do you speak? English and Swedish. I studied German in middle school and listens to German music from time to time but I would say my German is entry-level at best.
Hidden talent: I have an easy time learning new instruments.
