Systemet er designet til at give hurtig og nem adgang til de ting man er interesseret i. Taganode giver brugeren en ny måde at finde ting inden for et bestemt interesseområde eller aktiviteter ved at benytte en planlagt eller den aktuelle position af brugeren.
Det fungerer som et kort hvor du kan finde alle restauranter, cafeer og andre ting i dit nærområde. Hvis jeg er interesseret i at gå ud til frokost, så indsætter jeg bare byen og gaden hvor jeg gerne vil gå ud, vælger mad kategorien samt hvor langt jeg er parat til at gå efter restauranten. Systemet svarer hurtigt tilbage med en liste af restauranter indenfor det område som brugeren har valgt.
Brugeren kan vælge at se hvor restauranten er placeret på kortet i forhold til den oprindelige position som blev opgivet ved søgningens start. Hvis det er en rigtig smart restaurant kan du ringe med det samme til den, Taganode giver dig nummeret. Vi har arbejdet hårdt på at få systemet til at virke på alle telefoner, Nokia, LG, Samsung, iPhone, Sone Ericsson, HTC og flere... Brugeren får den bedste oplevelse på iPhone og Android telefoner. Her kan man benytte GPS systemet ved et tryk på en knap og med det samme kommer der en liste man kan vælge fra baseret på ens nuværende position samt interesseområde.

Taganode is a new type of service that lets users search for things they are interested in according to their current position.
The service works in the exact same way whether you’re using your PC, Mac or cell phone. When you enter the main page (www.taganode.com ) you are presented with three search fields. Actually, if you have a GPS-enabled device you don’t have to worry about the first step since you will be positioned automatically.
Differentiate Taganode from traditional search engines. Call it a”Position based activity guide”. Our users don’t know exactly what they are looking for. They know what they want to do and approximately where they want to do it. We provide them with options based on their current location.
Paint a picture of someone using the service searching for a place to eat. Show how many options that are available in the area and explain how important it is stand out if you want new customers to choose you.
Present the possibility to update the presentation with daily offers and special deals (instantly updated from a simple interface). Our presentation is not only a way to attract new customers, but also lets you reward returning customers and keep them interested in your service.
”Keep it Simple” Taganode functionality is based on user needs, providing an easy interface that works in all situations. Fancy graphics and scripts are banned on our pages.
Availability: Taganode uses an open web interface that works in all cell phones and computer environments with a web browser. You can communicate with potentially everybody with a cell phone in your area.
