TCL showcases innovations & technology at Milan Design Week

Milan – 25 April 2023 – TCL, one of the leading consumer electronics companies and the world’s TOP 2 TV brand, has just concluded their successful TCL ELEMENTS - TCL Green Horizon exhibition at Milan Design Week. The event showcased the company's commitment to TCL Green, a global campaign focused on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Through this exhibition, the brand also unveiled its new C Series Mini LED and QLED TVs and S64 Series Home Theater Soundbars along with their Domestic Appliances, including new A-energy class models and its mobile range featuring Eyecare TCL NXTPAPER devices and TCL NXTWEAR S wearable displays, but also displayed new concept devices from its Design Innovation Center.

TCL's first appearance at Milan Design Week marked another milestone in their ESG journey with the stunning #TCLGreen sculpture that embodies the spirit of the initiative. In collaboration with artist Kevin Chu, a Royal Institute of British Architects member, TCL created the installation inspired by blades of grass. The artwork utilizes over 1,000 pieces of discarded circuit boards supplied by TCL, raising public awareness — creatively and artistically — about the challenges of recycling electronic products.

The exhibition welcomed 37,000 visitors and attracted over 100 journalists from across Europe, who attended the company's press conference. Moreover, 554,000 viewers tuned in to the live stream on YouTube, while millions more engaged with TCL's social media posts and influencers who participated in the event. With the assistance of filmmaker, activist, and content creator Jack Harries (+1.3M followers on IG) and Italian KOLs and artists @fraffrog and @richardhtt, as well as several tech media and KOLs such as @manuel_agostini, @gesualdo_lomonaco, and @artben, the event garnered a significant audience on social media platforms.

In line with its brand signature, “Inspire Greatness”, TCL illustrated its vision to create technology for a better future that inspires greatness and brings people together with outstanding industrial and aesthetic design, intuitive user experience, and sustainable manufacturing. Through an immersive journey, visitors discovered the four elements of nature, reminding visitors how nature has always been and still is the most significant source of inspiration, creativity, and innovation. The exhibition offered immersion through sustainable artwork, interactive experiences, and innovative products to imagine a horizon, a near future where nature and technology cohabit harmoniously.

During the Milan Design Week, visitors also had the chance to view the brand-new 2023 TCL Europe product range, with new Mini LED and QLED Smart TVs (including XL Collection TVs), Home Theater Soundbars, Domestic appliances, and new concept devices.
