Tomorrow Saturday - Start of the Huairasinchi race in Ecuador

This is the first race for Thule Adventure Team this year.

In Ecuador Thule Adventure Team consists of, Martin, Per, Jacky and Mimi.

The race:
Stage 1: 24,3 km cycling
Stage 2: 38,2 km hiking
Stage 3: 87 km cycling
Stage 4: 13 km hiking
Stage 5: 24,2 km cycling
Stage 6: 21,8 km hiking
Stage 7: 100 km cycling - with rope activities during the stage
Stage 8: 14,4 km hiking
Stage 9: 23 km canoeing - with rope activities during the stage
Stage 10: 6,6 km running
TOTAL: 352,5 km

The fastest team expected to finish after three days and nights

  • Thule Adventure Team wins adventurous adventure race

    Thule Adventure Team were victorious in the 2011 Huairasinchi Race, taking place March 5–7 in the Andes of Ecuador. The Huairasinchi Race runs on very high altitude – up to 4300m above sea level – and is often referred to as "the highest adventure race on the planet". With a strong line-up of team captain Martin Flinta and his team fulfilled the highest expectations.

    The race is over and Thule Adventure Team crossed the finish line as the first team. But...because of diffrent circumstances in and around the race here are no official result list yet. But there will be one soon, hopefully. Thule Adventure Team did a good race and will be in first or second place. Tomorrow, Wednesday 9th March, we will know how it all finished....
