The final episode of Twingly Summer of Code airing tonight

During six weeks Helena, Kristoffer, Fredrik and Jonas have fought to reach the goal, a visual search engine called Twingly Blogoscope ready for launch. Tonight the reality-TV-series Twingly Summer of Code ends at 19.00 Swedish time or 6 PM GMT or 10 AM in San Francisco. The show is broadcasted on Youtube.

Four of the best Swedish young develpers have had six weeks to mutually develop the next service of the blog search engine Twingly, Twingly Blogoscope. And during the whole project it has been possible to follow the development on YouTube and in the development blog. Tonight, the last episode is aired and it will be revealed if Twingly Blogoscope is ready for launch.

"It has been intense working period and we have had great support from people watching the TV-series that have contacted us with hints and advice," said Martin Källström, CEO of Twingly. "The participants have struggled hard and tonight we know how it ends."

The last episode will be uploaded at 19.00 Swedish time (6 PM GMT or 10 AM San Francisco tim) at http://summer.twingly.com.

The participants in Twingly Summer of Code 2008 are:

- Helena Mischel, awarded "IT-woman of the Year 2008" by Microsoft Sweden

- Kristoffer Forsgren, blogger at Gate303.net

- Fredrik Smedberg, active in the open source project ReactOS

- Jonas Kac, former Communication Director at the Computer Science and Technology programme at Linköping Institute of Technology.
