The Urban Agriculture Summit in Linköping 2013 gathers experts and academia from all over the world to discuss transformative solutions on how to feed people in the urban era. One of the keynote speakers is Cecilia Hertz, industrial designer with a vast experience in interior design for space vehicles. She will talk about how space and other future solutions could be applied in tomorrow's cities.
Umbilical Design AB was founded in 2001 by industrial designer Cecilia Hertz, and since its inception has worked with NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) on design for the space industry.
