We are sad to say that after 7 years of successful trading, the Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic AB (UNISPHE) joint venture partnership will come to an end in Q1, 2021.
- Starting January 11th, the distribution of Sony physical home entertainment products in the Nordics and Baltics will be managed by SF Studios.

Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic (‘US’) was established in April, 2013 and launched commercially August 1st, 2013. The company is a joint venture between two major film studios Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures, which encompass the two studios respective physical Home Entertainment distribution. In addition, US manage the Nordic distribution of titles from Scanbox Entertainment, TriArt, NonStop Entertainment & Dreamworks Animation. Among the plus 3000 titles in the business catalogue you will find major franchise titles such as DESPICABLE ME, JURASSIC WORLD, SPIDER-MAN, FAST & FURIOUS, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, SMURFS, FIFTY SHADES as well as a broad range of reputable series such as DOWNTON-ABBEY, GRIMM, HOUSE OF CARDS, SUITS, THE CROWN and BREAKING BAD.
