Veolia och Yara i partnerskap för att sätta fart på den cirkulära ekonomin i Europa

Veolia och Yara har skrivit under ett avtal för att tillsammans utveckla den cirkulära ekonomin i Europas livsmedels- och jordbrukskedjor. Genom att återföra näringsämnen till näringskedjan kan effektiva och hållbara “näringsloopar” skapas.

Partnerskapet integrerar Veolias kunnande om hantering av biologiskt material och den allt mer ökande tillgången till stora volymer återförbara näringsämnen, med Yaras expertkunskaper kring växtnäring och framställning av mineraler och gödningsmedel. Tillsammans kopplar företagen ihop början och slutet på den linjära kedja som dagens livsmedelsframställning utgör, och därmed knyter ihop förloppet till en näringscirkel.Vi skapar helt enkelt cirkeln för de livsnödvändiga näringsämnena som annars går förlorade.
